Mink yarn comes from mink that are gently clipped, so no mink are killed! The fibers are very soft but very short, so they are often spun together with other fibers to allow knitting without the yarn breaking. It can be knitted with a single strand into a lovely shawl or with two strands into a cozy sweater. There isn't much mink yarn on the market, so you get a truly unique product here, which on top of that is also hand-dyed - win win......
