Merino/silk is a lovely, full luxury base that is not superwash treated. It is great for sweater knitting and after washing the stitch definition becomes even more beautiful and fuller, and it can easily be knit together with a mohair and used for one of Petiteknits' many beautiful designs. It can be knit with wooden as well as metal needles. Many sensitive people can tolerate it because the merino in it is a fine merino. If you are wool-allergic, you need to go up to AKW scale A and search for your yarn, but if you are "just" sensitive, you should easily be able to tolerate this yarn.
