Mink yarn comes from mink that are gently sheared – no mink dies! The fibres are very soft but very short, so they are often spun together with other fibres so that you can knit with the yarn without it breaking. Knitted with a single strand it makes a lovely shawl, and with two strands a wonderful sweater. There is not much mink yarn on the market, so this is a truly unique product – and hand-dyed too. Win-win!
