Mink yarn comes from minks that are gently sheared, so no mink is harmed! The fibres are very soft but very short, so they are often spun together with other fibres so that you can knit with the yarn without it breaking. It can be knitted with a single strand to make a lovely shawl, or with two strands to make a wonderful sweater. There is not much mink yarn on the market, so here you get a truly unique product that is also hand-dyed – win-win!
