This is our ultimate luxury yarn – 100% pure cashmere from Mongolia. It is perfect for smaller projects such as small scarves. Both PetiteKnit and My Favorite Things Knitwear have lovely little scarves that suit it. Even if you have allergies or very sensitive skin, you can easily wear this yarn.
Cashmere comes from the cashmere goat, which lives in the mountains of the Himalayas. Each goat only “produces” very small amounts of wool every year. On top of that, the goats roam a huge natural area, which in itself makes access difficult. That is why the wool is so rare and so precious. Cashmere is excellent at regulating temperature, so you never get too warm or too cold.
