Mink yarn comes from mink that are gently sheared, so no mink die! The fibres are very soft but very short, and therefore they are often spun together with other fibres so that you can knit with it without the yarn breaking. It can be knitted with a single strand and become a lovely shawl, or with two strands and become a lovely sweater. There is not much mink yarn on the market, so here you get a completely unique product that is also hand-dyed on top of that - win win......
