For economic reasons producers get more out of shearing the goats frequently and thus obtain more yarn than by letting them grow long-haired. The longer the hairs are, the more they lie flat against our skin and therefore itch less. It is not recommended for allergy sufferers and therefore has a category C, but if you are \"just\" sensitive, I would recommend you try this, as it really is different. This luxury mohair runs only 350m per 50g. It becomes very thick if you knit with two strands.
